Join Pauline Maudy, Rob Davidson, and the Black Square Quartet for an exclusive first showing of the Making Daybreak song cycle.
Making Daybreak is a unique collaboration between two internationally-recognised Australian artists exploring and celebrating human resilience in the face of adversity at a time when it is particularly pertinent, weaving melodies and lyrics that reflect on universal tales of pain, strength, and connection, while mirroring the composers’ own individual journeys through trauma, grief, migration and chronic illness. The songs are brought to life through intricate string quartet arrangements, bolstering Pauline’s powerful vocals in French and English. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to get insight into the project and approach of the composers as the songs are performed live for the very first time.
Do you have financial or other barriers to attending? Get in touch here and we will do our best to accommodate you.
