Europe collaborations and touring: 2024

Thanks to the Brisbane City Council Lord Mayor’s Creative Fellowship, her generous supporters, matched funding from Creative Australia, and support from European partners Via Lactea, Pauline travelled to Belgium in late 2024 to undertake a number of projects including a collaboration with the Orchestre International du Vetex and composer Thomas Morewski. Pauline and Thomas developed repertoire together and Pauline was invited to perform 6 shows with the Ochestre International du Vetex in Belgium and France.

While in the Northern Hemisphere, she also attended WOMEX music conference in Manchester, co-wrote and recorded a song with Catalan/Belgian/French band Rumbaristas, collaborated with Ukrainian singer Olya Harkava, had a song-swapping session with French accordionist/vocalist Clemence Vandaele, and had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people and artists.
